DOMINICA
This isn’t an island of swim-up bars, infinity pools, and frozen daiquiris - though the rum is dangerously good. Dominica is raw, volcanic, gloriously overgrown—and seemingly determined to turn every hike into an Indiana Jones audition.
Nicknamed the “Nature Island,” Dominica is basically one enormous green exclamation point: steaming volcanic terrain, waterfalls crashing through jungle, black-sand beaches, boiling lakes, hot springs, and rivers so clear you’ll briefly question whether you’ve wandered into a tourism brochure rendered by AI. The island is rugged, wet, wild and wonderfully unconcerned with being polished.
